Notice of AGM 2020 

        

The 2020 Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the Piara Waters Junior Football Club (PWJFC) will be held on Tuesday the 24^th of November at 7.30pm at the Piara Waters Pavilion, located on Nicholson Road and Broadway Boulevard, Piara Waters.

The AGM will consider the election of Committee members as well as other business.  The following positions will be vacant at the AGM and available for nomination;

General Committee                      – Canteen Manager – Rossiter

General Committee                      – Assistant Canteen Manager – Rossiter

General Committee                      – Canteen Manager – Piara Waters

General Committee                      – Assistant Canteen Manager – Piara Waters

General Committee                      – Sponsorship Coordinator

General Committee                      – Merchandise Coordinator

General Committee                      – Recruitment and Retention Officer

General Committee                      – Fixtures and Facilities Coordinator

General Committee                      – Grounds and Equipment Manager

In accordance with the PWJFC Constitution the above positions will be held for a period of 1year.  Current serving committee members are eligible to nominate for a further period at the AGM.  Full position descriptions of these positions are available at the club website; https://piarawaterspirates.com.au/contacts/committee-members/

If there are more nominations that the number of vacant positions, then a vote will be held at the AGM.  If this is necessary a show of hands, poll or a ballot hall to be conducted.  The Chairperson of the Meeting shall be entitled to cast a second or casting vote as long as that vote is not on their nominated position.  Only Members and Social members ($1.00 payment at the AGM and sign attendance sheet) who have paid their membership fees are eligible to vote in an election.

Nominations for any position on the Committee may be made by any Member or Social Member either in writing (media@piarawaterspirates.com.au) or by verbal proposal at such meeting.  Any Member or Social Member nomination being not present at the AGM shall be accompanied by his or her consent in writing.
